What I’m seeing:

Sigh, now I gotta get Nissan pearle white paint. The internet wants 20 bucks for a 1/2 ounce bottle. I’m gonna check with my local Nissan dealer possibly tomorrow but I doubt it’ll be any less.

Damn, pearl paints are just as bad, if not, worse than metallic paints to correct. Good luck.

Yea I have several white spray paints that probably would’ve worked if I didn’t have that metallic flake. My 3 options really are:

A)Suck it up and get the 20 dollar touch up paint
B)Buy another 300 dollar lip in either the proper white (this one is ever so slightly different) or black.
C)Slap a phat sticker over it.

I know that feel. First time I scraped my first car on a concrete parking spot divider, I got so pissed I dropped my girlfriend off at home and spent 2 hours buffing a scuff that pretty much couldn’t be seen unless you were under the car (16 year old me was kind of obnoxious).

First time I bumped a curb I broke 1/4 of a front lip completely off. That was the only curb I bumped until today. Glad this lip wasn’t a cheapo and didn’t completely break apart.

Time for a Krom bumper.

Nah something about the Krom front end looks wrong to me. Coupled that with the fact that it’s four hundred trillion dollars.

Maybe I exaggerated on the price.

The fact that it doesn’t have a front badge is already disconcerting to me.

How much would it be to repaint a brand new lip though? I find that single stickers have to be in the right place to be both asymmetrical and alright-looking, I wouldn’t find that on a lip personally.

Is it possible to just have the current lip repainted? If not, I’d just touch it up as best as possible and live with it.

Have you tried Plasti Dip? It’s a durable, easy to use vinyl that you can spray on your car that doesn’t damage the paint finish. I did some research and they have pearl white available, if it doesn’t match your color, once it sets you can peel it off and spray on a different color.

The lip unpainted is about 250 but hard to source, most come painted any color for 300. I would need a pretty long/rectangular sticker placed at an angle to cover the whole thing but with the design of this lip, it probably would look odd. Worse comes to worse, I do that and get a new lip down the road. I wouldn’t mind getting this lip at some point:

Hmm that’s not a bad idea, could honestly go with any color in that case.

Yep, and what’s better is it’s tougher than paint finish so you don’t have to worry about scratches, you also don’t have to dry your car after you wash it because it leaves no water spots and lastly, you can acquire this for around 7 bucks and do this on your free time, which is a lot cheaper than a lick of paint from a dealership. There are people out there that spray their entire car with this stuff which I think is a good idea especially in winter to protect your paint from salt and grit.

Ugh that sucks. When my E350 Bluetec was about 8 months old, I drove on a weird uneven alley in a small town, no signs posted - it sharply dipped about 18 inches, which I couldn’t see due to weird line of sight issues and many parked cars. Scraped the hell out of the underside of my front bumper. I touched it up, but it wasn’t perfect. Luckily, like with your car, it is very low, and will be hard to see once touched up. I think you’ll be able to paint it and make it look ok. Just be precise, tape off the parts that don’t need paint.
